The 2006 season of Decades Rock Live will feature Death Cab For Cutie, Billie Jo Armstrong, and Fiona Apple among others, joining the already-announced lineup which includes Alice In Chains, Dave Navarro, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, and Rufus Wainwright.

For the record: Decades Rock Live "features performances honoring celebrated artists from rock to soul who have influenced popular music over the last fifty years." The definition is then expanded to include the "hottest acts... inspired by these legends." The series premiered in November 2005 on VH1 Classic with an episode paying homage to Bonnie Raitt, with guests including Norah Jones, Ben Harper, and Keb Mo.

The artists currently being announced will appear in upcoming episodes paying tribute to Heart (featuring Death Cab, Billie Joe, and Apple) and Elvis Costello (featuring Alice In Chains, Navarro, Underwood, and Wainwright), taping at the Trump Taj Mahal on March 10 and May 19, respectively.
