First off, before I go any further I must give kudos to these boys for saying something every man in America has always wanted to say. “Hey girls! Shut up for a second now. This song goes out to all those guys out there who have gotten their hearts broken by those little warlock girls out there!” Thanks Benji, I owe you one for that.
God knows how much I’d like to continue the subject of love at its immature level but we have Good Charlotte to talk about their multitudes of kiddie followers. They could be forgotten but not ignored. Everyone wanted a piece of the action, to be able to see Good Charlotte in direct line of sight without interference.
On their more mellow songs, “Hold On” GC slowed down the tempo with an acoustic rendition of the already EMOtionally based song. Trying to refute reputation of having no emotion in their shows, Benji says “Since you guys don’t think we have emotion…….” and begins to start “Hold On.” But for the majority of the show, Good Charlotte was good just being themselves. These low-key rockers maintain their MTV style on stage. It was just like looking at their music videos but a bit louder and farther away.
I was rather impressed on the notion that Good Charlotte could perform for almost two hours and they even perform by different industry standards. By perform I mean play a few songs and talk for the rest of the time. I suppose the kids needed a story time break in between songs to regain focus. All we needed was the cookies and Mrs. Smith to tell us to come in from recess and my childhood dreams would be relived once again. However, when Good Charlotte decided to play, they held their own as pop/rock leaders of the new millennium. From “The Anthem” to “Lifesytles of the Rich and Famous,” Good Charlotte performed to MTV precision while catering to the Young and the Hopeless.

Good Charlotte doesnt suck at all..you all just get caught up in the moment of other rebels.. who just want to be heard over everyone else..just because GIRLS love them the most..it doesnt give you the reason to bash them..their music is great...and untill you can make a band..and get as far as they did...dont even question..or assume they suck because your GF speds more time listening to GC then you yap.

Their songs have helped me through some really hard times when i was considering suiside. But i could just put in HOld On and feel better. I want to thank the guys for everything that there music has done for me because with out them i probably wouldnt be here today. ANd who cares if they are hot? they music is great and the fact that they are hot just adds to it. You guys should stop judging and start listening. Good Charlotte is more then just pretty faces.

A lot of the kids that replied on this website...(none) nevermind this is useless...but a lot actually were...I don't know. Yes, it is true that Good Charlotte is not the best band and never will be. But, at least they try and give it all that they can. The reason why they put out albums is because they love music and want to teach kids good things. If that makes any sense. So, I'm DEFINITELY NOT bashing you, because I agree completely.
Good Charlotte has taught me a lot of my morals...I think that they are a VERY respectable band. They can teach kids a lot of different things...well, of course, for me they have taught that you don;t have to be like everyone else. That is what I appreciate the most. And one more thing...Benji is the most beautiful person I have ever seen.

I played the cd for some of my friends, and they said it sucked and that I should change it. Now that they got on MTV, everyone loves them. It drives me insane. Frankly, it's music. Richard, you should really reconsider your thoughts on writing a review that puts these guys in any form of a positive light. The fact that the majority of their fans are girls posting how hot they are is reason enough to start banishing coverage on Good Charlotte and all bands like them.
